Ackroyd & Harvey, an artist duo made up of Heather Ackroyd and Dan Harvey, have been collaborating since 1990 to bring important themes, such as climate change, to the attention of the public around the world through architecture, sculpture, photography, and installations – to name a few mediums.
The pair originally began working together as they had common interests in working with grass, seeds, and different natural processes to illustrate their messages. Climate change quickly became an obvious topic to aim to tackle through their art. “We were aware of climate change from the get-go”, the two artists say in agreement. “We wanted to see how art could inspire climate action and have a real impact in the movement”.
